A federal appeals court this week ruled that a New York town's policy of opening board meetings with prayer violated the Establishment Clause of the Constitution. The three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit struck down the Greece town board's prayer policy, using a complex standard that must be satisfied for a prayer policy to pass muster. The court said that a reasonable observer, when looking at the prayer policy overall-including the process of selecting individuals to pray, the content of the prayers, and the broader behavior of everyone involved-must not think the town is associating itself with one specific religion.
Although the prayers must be diverse in religious doctrine, the court added that efforts by the town to mandate neutrality in the prayers potentially could violate the Constitution. In addition, as one account explained, "The court said that because the town of Greece contains predominantly Christian clergy, it should search other towns and jurisdictions for non-Christians to invite to pray at its own town meetings and take other uncommon steps to ensure that non-Christians do not 'feel like outsiders.'"
Although
the court "upheld the right of towns to have such prayers before public
meetings," it provided little guidance for municipalities within its
jurisdiction who wish to continue our nation's rich legacy of
legislative prayer. In addition, the court concluded by effectively
saying that it could not articulate a prayer policy that would be held
constitutional: ". . . we do not aim to specify what the Establishment
Clause allows, but restrict ourselves to noting the ways in which this
town must be read to have conveyed a religious affiliation.
It is true
that contextual inquiries like this one can give only limited guidance
to municipalities that wish to maintain a legislative prayer practice
and still comply with the mandates of the Establishment Clause."

Rep. Tim Walberg, a Member of the Prayer Caucus, introduced legislation this week supporting the right of school boards to open meetings with prayer. H.Res.662 expresses the sense of the House that school boards are deliberative bodies similar to city and county councils and state and federal legislatures, and should be treated as such for purposes of analyzing the constitutionality of their prayer policies.
In 1983, the Supreme Court in Marsh v. Chambers affirmed the freedom of deliberative bodies to open sessions with voluntary prayer. Despite the fact that school boards share the characteristics of other deliberative bodies, courts have treated them in differing ways-with some courts analyzing school board prayer as "school prayer," a more stringent test, and some courts analyzing school board prayer as "deliberative body prayer."
Unless and until the Supreme Court clarifies the issue, Rep. Walberg's resolution gives Members of Congress an opportunity to support the freedom of school boards to open meetings with voluntary prayer, consistent with the Supreme Court's decision in Marsh. Members of the Prayer Caucus will continue working to preserve the freedom of deliberative bodies across the nation to engage in the important tradition of opening sessions with prayer. Propaganda is defined as "chiefly derogatory information, especially of a biased or misleading nature, used to promote or publicize a particular political cause or point of view; the dissemination of such information as a political strategy." Since 1948, the federal government has been banned by law in using propaganda against its citizens. Texas Republican Mac Thornberry and Washington Democrat Adam Smith have introduced a bill to make it legal for the government to lie to its citizens about certain political causes. The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act of 2012 (HR 5736) was referred to committee and is likely to be an amendment to the National Defense Authorization Act for 2013.
The bill authorizes the government to: "use funds appropriated or otherwise made available for public diplomacy information programs to provide for the preparation, dissemination, and use of information intended for foreign audiences abroad about the United States, its people, and its policies, through press, publications, radio, motion pictures, the Internet, and other information media, including social media, and through information centers, instructors, and other direct or indirect means of communication." The bill has a provision stating that no funds authorized "shall be used to influence public opinion in the United States."
The US has a full propaganda operation disseminating information to foreign countries. A lot of this information is aimed at gaining support for US foreign policy initiatives. This information, however, has been prevented from distribution to the American public because it is considered persuasive material--propaganda. Thanks to Congressmen Thornberry and Smith, this propaganda will likely be used on the American public. And although there is a provision in the bill saying that funds will not be used to influence public opinion in the US, this is only legal doublespeak trying to absolve the government of the responsibility of using propaganda before it puts into practice its program.

Irrespective
of Congressmen Thornberry's and Smith's intent, this legislation opens
the door for the government to legally lie to the American people. Many
would say that the mainstream media is already a propaganda arm of the
government. Nevertheless, it will be far more difficult to discern the
truth by making propaganda legal. The Congress and the Administration
are not painting a very good picture for a free people--property
confiscation, spy drones, citizen detention without cause,
nationalization of property and resources. The list goes on and on.
Yeshua said in Matthew 24:4, "Take heed that no man deceive you." As we
enter the end times, deception will prosper. Too bad its being legalized
in America.

Obama: Obama Naively Thinks Slaughter of Christians a misunderstanding
The violence in northern Nigeria is mistakenly viewed as a religious conflict rather than simply a tribal dispute over land, according to the Obama administration. Despite the ongoing Muslim destruction of churches and the slaughter of Christians - including many murdered during worship services - the U.S. Agency for International Development claims that the misunderstandings make it difficult to administer aid programs. USAID, therefore, has launched a program titled Project PEACE - an acronym for Programming Effectively Against Conflict and Extremism. PEACE says it will hire contractors to help the agency analyze the "true" causes of conflict and consequently provide more effective humanitarian and conflict-resolution assistance, according to planning documents that WND located via database research. The cost of Obama's new "knowledge generation, dissemination and management" initiative is $600 million. The unveiling of PEACE comes as the slaughter of Nigerian Christians is on the rise.

China is pressing a long-range modernization of its military, part of a strategy aimed at maximizing its leverage over Taiwan, extending its influence farther abroad, but avoiding conflict around its borders or with the United States, the Pentagon said on Friday in an annual report to Congress.

Jerusalem will remain the united capital of the Jewish people, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said on Sunday at the ceremony on Ammunition Hill marking 45 years since the city's unification.
Netanyahu recounted recent visits to centuries-old synagogues in Prague and Amsterdam, pointing out that they, like synagogues around the world, face Jerusalem, symbolizing the Jewish people's past and its home for the future.
"We will protect Jerusalem, because Israel without Jerusalem is like a body without a heart," the prime minister said. "On this hill, 45 years ago, the united heart of our people began to beat again, with full power. Our heart will never be divided again."
Giving up on a united Jerusalem would show weakness to our enemies, he explained, saying that a body that would give up its heart could not fight for anything.
"This is the place in which our past was revealed and our future is built," he said. "We developed Jerusalem in the north, south, east and west, and we will keep building our capital."

is just one reason to consider leaving the US, but better yet to
consider our walk with Yahshua. We are in troubled times in which it
seems every direction we turn there's some threat of danger. Some, if
not many, have the attitude "when it's my time, it's my time" for the
here-after. But what does the here-after hold for us without a
relationship with our Maker? Maybe you can't afford to pick up and
leave the US or you don't know where to go. Well
that's another reason for having a relationship with Yahshua.
But seek ye first the kingdom of Yahweh, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33
And I say unto you, ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. Luke 11:9
What
does this mean? It means we all need to have a relationship with
Yahshua Ha Mashiach praying daily on our knees for the answers from
Him. Yahshua made impossible miracles for people who cried out to
Him when He walked this earth. And he still can make impossible
miracles in this day and age for us, but we must repent from our wrong
wayward ways, obey His commandments, seeking the righteousness He wants
us to follow and cry out to Him.
Events
like this one and other dangers will continue to escalate because the
bowls and vials are being released from heaven, for mankind will not
repent. The bowls and vials don't all of a sudden happen in one big
flash or bang. They are released and then grow as man continues to sin,
not acknowledging and repenting from their transgressions. Yahweh
did not make mankind to do his will, but to do Yahweh’s will. Seeing
that men do not want to repent they will bring on their
destruction.

It
is written in Scripture that one third of the waters turn to blood, but
it did not specify whether all at once or gradually. The death and
destruction of the animals, people, ships, and the plagues, earthquakes,
signs in the heavens, etc. would come to pass, but will it be all at
once or gradually? We are seeing these prophecies coming to pass on our
computers, TV's and in front of our faces. I've seen a gradual release
of these signs over time but now there is an escalation of these
events. One thing for sure, it is leading up to the climax of Yahshua's
return.
These
events are the judgments, seals, and vials, being released. It has
started and has been going on for a while but now is speeding up. There
are even false prophets abounding and people believe them, as we are
seeing. I believe Satan and his horde of demons have been kicked out of
heaven permanently now and are going for the throat of mankind.
Yahweh
will allow deceptive spirits to fool those that are not pressing in to
seek Him and serve Him. There will be NO lukewarmness allowed as
written in the book of Revelation.
So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Revelation 3:16 KJV
It
is time for all to repent; seek the father Yahweh through His Son
Yahshua and HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS. Stop playing around with losing your
souls and press in and get HOT for Him.
